01AUTOMOTIVE

Repeatable Precision in Automotive Parts

In the automotive supply chain, it matters not only that a part is right at the first sample but that it stays within the same dimensions hundreds of pieces later. Fixturing layout, toolpaths and the inspection plan are designed to ensure this repeatability.

We perform 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining for a range of needs, from fixture and jig parts and prototype components for engine, transmission and suspension systems to test rig parts and special vehicle applications.

APPLICATIONS

  • Fixtures, jigs and inspection gauges
  • Prototype engine and transmission components
  • Brackets, flanges and connection parts
  • Shafts, bushings and gear parts
  • Test rig and production line parts
  • Special vehicle and modification parts

02CAPABILITIES

Our Production Approach for This Industry

01

From Prototype to Series

Production from a single prototype to recurring series batches with the same CAM program and fixturing layout.

02

Fixtures and Jigs

Manufacturing of fixtures, jigs and inspection gauges for production and assembly lines.

03

Tight Tolerances

Machining of fits, bearing seats and connection surfaces to the tolerances and surface quality on the drawing.

04

Aluminum and Steel

Machining of aluminum alloys, quenched-and-tempered and case-hardening steels, stainless steel and engineering plastics.

05

Measurement and Reporting

Dimensional inspection within the framework of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system; inspection reports on request.

02

Prototype and R&D Parts

When a new vehicle or system is being developed, parts are often needed in small quantities and at short notice. Functional prototype parts can be produced from a 3D model or technical drawing using materials close to the series production material.

The manufacturability assessment carried out at the prototype stage also provides guidance on fixturing, tooling and cycle time when moving to series production.

03

Fixtures, Jigs and Inspection Gauges

Fixtures and jigs used on welding, assembly and inspection lines must be as precise as the parts they produce. Reference surfaces, pin holes and locating elements are machined to the tolerances on the technical drawing.

Worn or damaged fixture parts can be reproduced from a sample or drawing.

04

Series Production and Supply Continuity

For repeat orders, the CAM program, fixturing layout and inspection plan are kept so that every batch is produced with the same method. Quantity, batch size and delivery plan are determined together at the quotation stage.

Dimensional inspection of the parts is carried out according to the technical drawing; inspection reports are shared on request.

03MATERIALS

Materials We Machine

  • Aluminum alloys (6061, 7075)
  • Quenched-and-tempered and case-hardening steels
  • Stainless steels
  • Brass and bronze alloys
  • Engineering plastics (POM, PA, PEEK)
